Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect your details only when you choose to send them to us, through the inquiry form, the review form, or by calling or emailing.
We use them to reply to you, quote your work, and carry it out.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will.

From the inquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, the property address you are asking about, and anything you type in the message field.
From the review form: your name, your rating, your review text, and your email address if you choose to give it.
If you call or email us: whatever you tell us in that conversation.
We do not ask for, and have no reason to hold, payment card details on this website.

Contact you about the work you asked about, and quote it.
Schedule and carry out the installation, and support it afterwards.
Publish a review you submitted, if you submitted one. We publish the name and the review text. We never publish your email address.
Keep our own records of work done, as any contractor does.

Google, whose Workspace, Sheets and Apps Script products carry the form submission and store it. Our site sends the form to a Google Apps Script endpoint, which emails our team and records the enquiry in a Google Sheet.
Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

This website does not currently run an advertising pixel, and it does not run analytics. We are not tracking your behaviour across other websites.
If you reach us through an advertisement on a platform such as Facebook or Instagram and submit your details there, that platform collects them under its own privacy policy and passes them to us. We then handle them as described on this page.
If we add advertising or analytics tools to this site in future, we will update this page to say so.

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your enquiry or your project. That is the reason we asked for it.
We do not send marketing text messages to numbers given to us for a quote, and we do not add your number to a marketing list without you asking us to.
Reply STOP to any text from us and we will stop texting you.

Enquiries that do not become work: kept while they are still a live conversation, then deleted on request.
Customer records: kept for as long as we may need them to honour a warranty or answer a question about work we did.
Ask us to delete your information and we will, other than anything we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons.

Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
Ask us to correct it, and we will.
Ask us to delete it, and we will.
Ask us to take down a review you submitted, and we will remove it from the site.
To do any of these, email or call us using the details below. There is no form to fill in and no charge.

This site is for homeowners and property managers arranging lighting work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
